California is facing urgent challenges – from rising costs to public safety to homelessness – and too often our cities are left to tackle them alone.

It’s time for state and local leaders to work together, cut through the partisanship in Sacramento, and focus on the common-sense Back to Basics priorities that voters overwhelmingly support, like solutions on homelessness, bringing down punishingly high energy and housing costs, improving public safety, and ensuring people struggling with addiction or mental health issues get the help they need.
